Lee Health is seeking a Neurohospitalist! Lee Health is a non-profit organization with more than 16,000 employees, 4,500 volunteers, and over 1,200 primary care and specialty care providers across more than 100 practice locations throughout Southwest Florida. The organization operates four acute care hospitals and two specialty hospitals with a total of 1,812 beds. Position Information: The LPG - Neurohospitalist is seeking a full-time physician

board eligible/board certified

in neurology

to join their busy practice. The service covers Lee Health's acute care hospitals and collaborates with the Neurology outpatient clinic to provide high-quality community care. The position involves working 7 days on and 7 days off inpatient, with opportunities for additional outpatient work during off weeks. Candidates should be interested in general neurology and acute stroke care, with no stroke call required. It houses the Neuroscience Institute, orthopedic services, and general surgery. The hospital provides 24/7 emergency care, minimally invasive stroke treatments, and has a dedicated neuroscience ICU.

GCMC is a certified Comprehensive Stroke Center with two Primary Stroke Centers at Cape Coral Hospital and Lee Memorial Hospital. The neurohospitalist team at GCMC typically manages 10-15 new consults daily, with an average census of 30-50 patients. Lee Memorial Hospital is a 362-bed Level II Trauma Center serving Lee County, with a 24/7 ER and a Rehabilitation Hospital. It handles approximately 4-8 new stroke consults daily. Lee Memorial has a long-standing history of serving the community, over 100 years. This is ExceptionalLee!
