Overview

Vendor/Buyer Manager, Amazon Fresh Grocery at Amazon. Responsible for managing vendor relationships and setting the strategic direction for the business on Amazon Fresh.

Responsibilities

• Drive strategic negotiations with large vendors and represent Amazon when meeting with senior leaders
• Develop long-term strategies and significantly influence cross-category plans
• Work cross functionally, both within Amazon and with strategic vendors, and implement scalable, simple, and automated solutions to address customer pain points
• Create opportunities for growth, customer acquisition, and brand-building for multiple sub-categories
• Audit metrics regularly, determine and prioritize business opportunities, identify risks and make recommendations to pursue
• Identify industry trends and develop innovative marketing and merchandising initiatives to support growth

Basic Qualifications

• 1+ years of account management, project or program management or buying experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience using analytical tools such as Google Analytics, SQL or HTML

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in process improvement
• Experience managing large amounts of data

Compensation and Benefits

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $48,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $103,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
