Role: Shipper/Receiver

Job Summary: One of the key roles of the Shipper/Receiver is to assure safe loading and unloading of raw materials and finished products. Must be committed to safe forklift operation and have the ability to work from a pick list.

Key Responsibilities:

Ability to safely operate a sit down forklift while maintaining a valid forklift certification

Must be comfortable working outside in the elements

Communicate with drivers to ensure the accuracy of the load as well as safety

requirements for loading/unloading materials

Ability to think on your feet in identifying from the pick list where the material is located either in the yard or warehouse

Identify where product is located in the yard by utilizing the identifying signs

Able to use FIFO system correctly to pull pallets for loading

Guide the truck drivers where they need to go in order to be safely loaded/unloaded

Must be willing to learn other job duties in shipping and scale house

Knowledge of railcar unloading process, Trackmobile operation and railroad safety

Must adhere to all IKO safety policies.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required

Must be legally authorization to work in U.S.

Must be able to pass a forklift certification class and test

Must be able to read a pick list

Must be able to work overtime as necessary, which could include weekends 

Must be able to pass a fit for duty Physical

Must be able to lift up to 76 lbs. unassisted

Starting at: $21.63 per hour.
