Job Details

• Role: Phlebotomist
• Department: ER
• Schedule: FT, 7p-3a

Responsibilities

• Label, process and deliver specimens for testing.
• Collect blood specimens using age-appropriate techniques.
• Maintain equipment and medical supplies.
• Assist with coordinating and conducting blood drives, including interviewing and screening donors.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Preferred).
• Approved nationally accredited Phlebotomy training course (Preferred).
• Certification from ASCP or NHA (Preferred).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Experience with formal phlebotomy training (Preferred).
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision; ability to work in a stressful environment.
