LPN Overnight Job at The Bristal Assisted Living in Bethpage

Overview

The Bristal Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate LPN Supervisor to oversee, mentor and lead a team of nurses, HHA's, resident care aides and medication technicians in the Wellness/Resident Services Center of our luxury assisted living community. You will act as the shift supervisor in the absence of the Director, providing attentive help to residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and in the administration of medications, while guiding the team with skill and kindness.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, mentor and supervise nursing staff and care team in the Wellness/Resident Services Center
• Act as shift supervisor in the absence of the Director
• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) and medication administration
• Follow all policies and procedures and adhere to the directions of the Director of Wellness
• Maintain high quality of life and safety for residents through compassionate care

Qualifications

• Active NY LPN certification
• Staff supervisory and medication oversight experience, preferably in an assisted living, nursing home or similar environment
• Desire to improve the quality of life of residents
• Experience assisting those with Alzheimer's disease and dementia is a plus
• Caring, reliable and observant with understanding of MARs and doctors\' orders
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work independently

• Salary: $70,000.00-$85,000.00
