Industrial Maintenance Technician - Join Our Manufacturing Team at Sustainable Corrugated! Type : Full-time Schedule : Multiple shifts including evenings, nights, weekends & overtime Ready to Power Industrial Excellence? We're looking for an experienced technician who takes pride in preventative maintenance, problem-solving, and working collaboratively in a team-focused environment. We are a well established company with three sites and have an opening in Morganton now! What You'll Do: Technical Excellence Read and interpret mechanical and electrical blueprints like a pro Apply your electrical knowledge including motor controls, troubleshooting motors, and 3-phase power systems Execute predictive, preventative, and emergency maintenance throughout our facility Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, dial indicators, and digital measurement tools Collaborative Impact Partner with production supervisors and team members to maintain seamless operations Communicate effectively across departments while supporting production schedules Participate in our Safety Committee and contribute to our safety-first culture Mentor and support fellow team members in collaborative projects Problem-Solving & Safety Follow comprehensive lockout/tagout procedures to ensure safe maintenance practices Complete tasks with precision in our constantly evolving manufacturing environment Maintain organized workstations and contribute to common area upkeep Respond quickly and safely to equipment needs and operational changes What We're Looking For: Experience & Education 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience High School Diploma or equivalent Working knowledge of computers and maintenance management systems Technical Skills Expertise in troubleshooting hydraulic and pneumatic systems Proficiency with analog and digital measurement tools (tachometers, multimeters) Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities Experience reading technical documentation and following safety procedures Personal Qualities Safety-focused mindset with commitment to following all safety protocols Strong communication skills - both verbal and written Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs and work at heights Adaptability to work various shifts and handle changing priorities Team player attitude with ability to work independently when needed Why You'll Love Working Here: Competitive Benefits Package 401(k) with company matching Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance and Employee Assistance Program Paid holidays and vacation time Growth & Stability Overtime opportunities for additional earnings Stable manufacturing environment with established processes Cross-training opportunities across different equipment and systems Safety-first culture where your wellbeing is prioritized Work-Life Balance Flexible scheduling including various shift options Predictable schedule with advance notice of overtime needs Team-oriented environment where collaboration is valued Ready to Join Our Team?
