About the role

We are seeking an Overnight Prep Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will focus on order fulfillment, quality control, presentation, and safety standards, delivering high-end final products while maintaining hygiene and safety in accordance with health regulations.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Executing daily prep lists from executive and sous chefs
• Maintaining an organized, clean workspace: labeling, stocking ingredients, washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, removing garbage
• Preparing ingredients for service: measuring, washing, chopping, cutting meat
• Undertaking basic cooking duties: salads, sandwiches, entrees
• Adhering to nutrition and sanitation guidelines
• Supporting the culinary team with other kitchen duties

What we’re looking for

Our team values authenticity, curiosity, collaboration, solutions, and community. The ideal candidate will have:

• At least two years of experience as a prep or line cook in a restaurant or catering setting
• Knowledge of kitchen health and safety standards
• Skillful with cutting tools and kitchen utensils
• Comfort with various knife cuts
• Ability to work in high-volume, bulk production environments
• A warm personality, team-oriented, honest, and passionate about food

Job requirements

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, and holidays
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• Preference for DOH Food Handler’s license
