The role requires a dedicated software QA tester to support a high-profile, high-priority EHR implementation. The engagement is 100% on-site at first and then re-evaluated.

Overview

VDH is implementing an Electronic Health Record (EHR) system to enhance patient-focused capabilities. The chosen system is replacing a legacy application that covers patient care, scheduling, billing, and more. A dedicated software QA tester is critical to the success of this effort.

Responsibilities

• Duties will primarily include using the Cerner Millennium toolset to test the application to ensure it meets user requirements.
• Validate changes along the way and validate that user stories are built correctly / completely.
• Assist with coordinating these efforts across multiple functional workgroups.

Qualifications

• Software testing, including interface, integration, smoke, and regression—Required 5 Years
• Cerner Millennium-focused testing products—Highly desired 3 Years
• Testing of claims billing and processing systems—Highly desired 3 Years
• Public Health-related IT, development, and / or testing—Highly desired 3 Years
• Hospital (public, private, or non-profit) healthcare-related IT, development, and / or testing—Nice to have 3 Years
