Corporate Tools is looking for a Senior Data Analyst to join our finance team located in Post Falls, ID. Corporate Tools is a privately held, debt free, growing company. We don’t answer to shareholders or investors. Because of this, we focus on taking the time to provide solutions for our clients, not maximizing profits for shareholders. This position is coded as “Hybrid,” which means after initial training and onboarding in the office, occasional remote work is available. However, you will be expected to work in our Post Falls, Idaho office or our Spokane, WA office 2-3 days per week.

You will run the numbers, understand the results, and use the final data sets to direct the company towards impactful moments for our customers.
Wage
$100,000 - $125,000 depending on meeting requirements

Responsibilities
- Data Analysis: lead product planning, prioritization, execution, and reporting for the overall product with a product mindset.
- Serve as primary communication contact for Data Analysis across the organization.
- Effectively communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders to inform business decisions.
- Collaborate with the analytics team to plan and scale analytics and foster a data-driven culture.
- Consult stakeholders in developing KPIs, ad hoc analyses, and automated reporting to fit their needs and promote data literacy.
- Work with the data engineering team to plan, build, and maintain data structures to support analysis and reporting.
- Conduct complex data analyses to support strategic initiatives using advanced analytics tools and statistical methods.
- Leverage SQL and Python/R to wrangle data, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
- Create and maintain intuitive dashboards to reveal data stories for teams.
- Develop models to predict market trends and customer behavior to improve decision-making.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and translate them into actionable insights.
- Ensure data quality by developing processes and standards to maintain pristine data.
- Organize and prioritize tickets using Jira and Confluence.
- Mentor the analytics team and share best practices as a Senior Data Analyst.
Requirements
- 5+ years in data analytics or a related field, ideally with experience in fast-growing, high-impact organizations.
- Bachelor’s (BA or BS) in business, accounting, or related field, or relevant experience.
- Advanced SQL experience to extract data from relational databases (Postgres, MySQL, T-SQL, etc.).
- Proficient in Python, R, or similar languages for data manipulation, analysis, and visualization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience extracting meaning from large data sets.
- Experience building dashboards and reports using BI tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Metabase, etc.).
- Strong data modeling, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling skills.
- Ability to translate complex findings into narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Ability to act as a consultant to help stakeholders create relevant KPIs and understand the data.
- Team management/leadership experience including developing others; preferred experience presenting insights to executive leadership.
- Bonus: Experience with ETL processes and data modeling; DBT experience is highly preferred.
