Summary of Functions

Responsible for labeling, staging, and picking of production; load outs and receiving of all products and supplies for the dry operation.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Reports to and follows the directions of the Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor, and Plant Supervisor/Foreperson.
• Maintain proper rotation of the products, inventory of supplies, and of assigned items.
• Ensure that all powder orders are properly shipped, and all necessary paperwork is properly filled out.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and orderly state at all times; ensure yellow borders remain clean and supplies/inventory items stay 18 inches from walls.
• Keep the warehouse ready for USDA inspections at all times.
• Conduct monthly and yearly inventories.
• Keep management informed on warehouse operations through verbal and written communications.
• Confirm product quality is acceptable prior to shipping and that products meet customer requirements.
• Inspect trucks prior to loading; ensure trucks are clean and free of foreign debris; do not load damaged product.
• Aid in the training of new personnel.
• Follow all safety, working, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) rules.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required.
• High school level verbal and written communication skills.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

• Must possess or be able to obtain an Industrial Truck Operator License.

Compensation and Schedule

Pay: $23.00 per hour (Plus $1.25 night shift premium for hours worked on the night shift).

Schedule: Night Shift 6:00 pm – 6:30 am (2-2-3 schedule). Must be willing to work weekends and holidays that fall into schedule.
