Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, meal preparation, and assistance with mobility and toileting.
• Provide companionship and emotional support; monitor and report changes in health status.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal planning; assist with errands and transportation as needed.
• Support medication reminders and ensure adherence to care plans.
• Implement behavior management techniques when necessary and maintain a safe, comfortable home environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of caregiving experience required
• Transfer experience preferred
• Must be a driver
• Experience in assisted living or senior care environments
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and strong communication skills
• Ability to manage challenging behaviors and provide non-medical in-home care
