CNC Operator - Hiring Immediately Job at Staff Management | SMX in Salem

Overview

This is a long-term position with a great company. Staff Management SMX is hiring experienced CNC Operators for a leading Metal Fabrication Company. Associates receive weekly pay, medical and dental benefits on day one, and more.

Shift Information: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 5:50pm – 6:00am. Perks & Benefits include a climate-controlled environment, paid training, weekly paychecks, medical/dental insurance, and a referral bonus (restrictions apply).

Employment Type: Full Time, Long Term. Location: GKN / Salem, IN-7611, 190 W Becks Mill Rd, Ste D, Salem, IN 47167.

Responsibilities

• Start and stop equipment to run production and identify product and shop orders to ensure proper jobs are being run.
• Report scrap and labor information using written and electronic data collection devices.
• Select correct containerization for parts being produced. Participate in problem-solving activities.
• Adjust equipment to meet part specifications per process sheets and maintain within control limits.
• Perform TPM and prepare equipment for preventative maintenance.
• Identify product to ensure proper jobs are being run and collaborate with team members to identify improvements.
• Identify improvements with Team Leads and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Work every other weekend and overtime as needed.

Position Requirements / Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required. Prior experience as a CNC operator is required.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Basic math skills and ability to perform all inspection functions per written procedure.
• Must pass background check and drug test; at least 18 years old.
• Able to lift 50 pounds.
• Background check, drug test, and ability to relocate or travel if required by role.

Compensation and Benefits

Pay rate: $19.15 - $24.75 per hour. The hourly rate is a good-faith estimate based on shift and other factors; pay history is not a factor where prohibited by local law.
