Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician II to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals. The role requires a hands-on, detail-oriented professional who can provide technical support, manage user accounts, and deliver solutions that meet the needs of the organization. The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of relevant IT support experience and a strong understanding of industry practices and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer systems, hardware, and peripherals.
  • Document, upgrade, and replace hardware and software systems as needed.
  • Support and manage user account information, including access rights, security settings, and group assignments.
  • Train employees on hardware/software usage and IT procedures.
  • Identify, analyze, and resolve product failures, ordering and replacing parts as necessary.
  • Evaluate customer or internal requirements and recommend appropriate products or services.
  • Perform a variety of technical and complex tasks with limited supervision.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and systems maintained.
  • Collaborate with IT team and management to support operational goals.
  • Adhere to company policies, including IT security standards and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or related field (preferred).
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT support, field service, or related technical roles.
  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software troubleshooting.
  • Ability to work independently and exercise judgment to resolve technical issues.
  • Familiarity with industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
