Responsibilities

• Perform orbital welding on stainless steel, carbon steel, and other alloys.
• Set up and operate orbital welding machines and related equipment.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, and weld specifications.
• Inspect welds to ensure accuracy, strength, and appearance.
• Follow safety standards and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Collaborate with supervisors, engineers, and team members to complete projects.

Qualifications

• Welding background (TIG, process piping, or field welding).
• Orbital welding experience is a plus but not required; training provided.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Physically able to perform welding work (standing, bending, lifting).
• Welding certifications (TIG or process piping).
• Experience in food & beverage, pharmaceutical, aerospace, or semiconductor industries.
• Familiarity with AWS or ASME codes.

The estimated salary range for this position is $25 to $27 an hour. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location.
