Operating Room Registered Nurse - Main OR
Schedule
Day/Evening/Night rotating shift schedules
Every other weekend (EOW)
Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per unit needs
Job Duties
Seeking a moderate sedation nurse in the OR
Cares for a wide variety of patients
Specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, plastics, orthopedic, urology, cardiac, neuro, vascular, ophthalmic, GYN, ENT, thoracic, oral-maxillofacial, and trauma (level 1 trauma center)
Work with 2 Davinci robots that are used by multi-services
Participate in transplant program involving livers, kidneys, and hearts
Job Requirements
RN License (NY License ONLY)
Moderate Sedation Experience Required
IR Experience Required
Two (2) years Experience OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred
Certification(s)
BLS (American Heart Association ONLY)
Skills
RN License (NY License ONLY) - Required
BLS Certification (American Heart Association ONLY) - Required
Two (2) Years Experience - Required
OR experience in a level 1 trauma preferred and able to scrub preferred - Required
