Job Title: Accounting Clerk

Compensation:

  • Annual salary $41,600

Role Summary:

The Accounting Clerk will perform a variety of essential tasks that support the efficiency and smooth operations of both the accounting and administrative functions of the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Professionally manage the reception desk: receive / distribute incoming and outgoing mail, answer and direct phone calls, greet employees, customers, vendors, and other visitors
  • Accurate data entry to support payroll, accounts payable, and other accounting functions
  • Create and update spreadsheets to track a variety of information
  • Create and maintain files, scan and archive documents
  • Manage office supplies: maintain organization, track inventory, replenish stock as needed
  • Support planning for company training and employee engagement events
  • Provide overall support to the Controller and Office Manager; take direction as assigned
Education & Credentials:
  • Associate's degree in accounting or business administration preferred
Experience:
  • Minimum of 1 - 2 years' experience working in accounting, administration, or related field
  • Experience working in the construction industry preferred
Technical Proficiency
  • MS Office Suite - Outlook, Teams, SharePoint; Adobe Acrobat
  • Strong typing / data entry skills
