We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Hospitalist Physician for a locum tenens position at a hospital in New Hampshire. This 18-day assignment, spread across multiple weekends from August 2025 to January 2026, offers 24-hour call coverage starting Fridays at 5 PM and ending Mondays at 8 AM. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with acute care, potential rounding on Fridays, and taking call all weekend. Responsibilities include attending high-risk births, seeing nursery and pediatric admissions within 24 hours, and primarily covering pediatric patients in the ER and nursery. Responsibilities and Duties:

Provide acute care for pediatric patients

Attend high-risk births as needed

Perform rounds on pediatric inpatients

Manage nursery and pediatric admissions within 24 hours

Cover pediatric patients in the Emergency Room

Oversee care in the nursery

Collaborate with OB team and other healthcare providers

Communicate effectively with families and caregivers

Maintain accurate and timely patient records using Cerner EMR system

Ensure high-quality patient care and follow all hospital protocols and safety standards

Adapt to the hospital's existing workflows and practices

Additional Information:

Must be licensed to practice medicine in New Hampshire

Experience in pediatric hospitalist care required

Comfort with managing a diverse range of pediatric cases in both ER and nursery settings

Flexibility to work weekend shifts on specified dates
