Overview
The Town of Dunkirk is seeking a qualified full-time Deputy Clerk and Zoning & Planning Secretary to support the Town Clerk. The ideal candidate should be available Monday–Friday for 8 hours per day. The Deputy assists the Town Clerk in all phases of work and is deputized to act for and on behalf of the Town Clerk. The selected individual must interact with the Town Board, the public, and fellow employees in a polite, courteous, and professional manner and perform the duties of the Town Clerk when the Clerk is out of the office. Qualifications include a high school diploma, proficiency in QuickBooks Plus, and exposure to a networked environment using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Access).
