Overview

ARDMS - American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Tutor. The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform connects tutors with students for online ARDMS tutoring nationwide. As a tutor, you’ll set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make an impact on students’ learning journeys from home.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to individual ARDMS students.
• Accept on-demand tutoring requests when you’re available.
• Match with students whose needs align with your teaching style and expertise.
• Utilize Varsity Tutors platform tools to deliver effective online instruction.
• Invoice for tutoring sessions; the platform handles payments and logistics.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base contract rates start at $18/hour and increase for specialized subjects; pay can reach up to $40/hour with the same student.
• Paid up to twice per week for tutoring sessions conducted and invoiced.
• Set your own hours; tutor as much as you’d like.
• Remote tutoring with no commuting required using our Live Learning Platform.
• AI-powered Tutor Copilot enhances sessions with real-time support, lesson generation, and engagement features.

What We Look For In a Tutor

• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Expertise in ARDMS and the ability to explain concepts clearly.
• Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles.
• Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education.
