- Other Details: A board-certified gastroenterologist is needed for 24-hour call coverage starting August 13, 2025, for a 3-month contract. The schedule includes call shifts on August and , with ongoing Monday through Sunday 24/7 call coverage. The practice setting is hospital-based, with an average of 12 adult inpatients per day and full support staff including RNs, NPs, specialty backup, and 24-hour anesthesia. Procedures are required only in emergent situations; EUS and ERCP are preferred but not mandatory. The facility uses Cerner EMR and has 219 beds. Candidates must hold an active state license, DEA registration, and BLS and ACLS certifications.
