The Marriott Tacoma Downtown is hiring a Lobby Attendant. The Lobby Attendant's job primarily involves greeting guests, maintaining a clean and presentable lobby, and providing assistance to guests. They may also direct guests to different areas, answer questions, and ensure a safe and welcoming environment. We have two open positions. Responsibilities: • Providing a warm and professional greeting to guests as they enter the lobby, making them feel welcome and comfortable. • Ensuring the lobby is clean, organized, and visually appealing. This may include sweeping, mopping, dusting, and ensuring that supplies are stocked. • Answering guest questions, providing directions, and helping with luggage or other requests. • Monitoring the lobby area for safety and security concerns, reporting any issues to management, and ensuring a safe environment for all guests. • Assisting with the setup and maintenance of lobby areas for events, such as conferences or meetings, as needed. • Providing friendly and helpful service to all guests, resolving any minor issues or complaints, and ensuring guest satisfaction. • Depending on the specific location, lobby attendants may also be responsible for tasks such as operating a front desk, answering phones, taking messages, or assisting with other administrative duties. Qualifications: • Prior cleaning or housekeeping experience. • Guest Service experience. • Strong attention to detail. Compensation: $18 Hourly
