Overview

AA*-Patient Care Tech Med Surg Medical Unit Nights role at AdventHealth Lake Wales. This is a full-time night-shift position.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the delivery of patient care as a team member by performing patient care tasks under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Document and report all procedures properly and legibly in accordance with department policy.
• Participate in obtaining a nursing history and report abnormalities to the RN.
• Assist in identifying needs and developing/modifying the plan of care.
• Perform treatments according to policy and procedure; provide patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity and culture.
• Function appropriately in clinical emergencies.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• BLS certification.
