Cybersecurity Analyst Job at Kforce Inc in Huntsville

Responsibilities

• Cybersecurity Analyst will monitor computer networks for security threats and anomalies
• Investigate cybersecurity incidents and document findings
• Assess the impact of security breaches and support remediation efforts
• Collaborate with the security team to identify and test network vulnerabilities
• Implement and maintain security measures including firewalls and encryption tools
• Recommend and enforce IT security best practices
• Conduct forensic analysis and create secure duplicates of compromised files
• Analyze decrypted data and provide technical summaries
• Perform dynamic analysis including timeline, statistical, and file signature reviews
• Support real-time cyber defense operations and assist deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs)

Requirements

• Splunk Enterprise Security experience
• Experience in a similar role, or significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to perform the listed responsibilities
• Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

Base pay range

$45.00/hr - $64.00/hr

The pay range reflects the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably believe we would pay at posting for this role. The final pay may be higher or lower based on factors such as education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, location, and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
