Compensation and Benefits

• Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:30 PM to 10:00 PM
• Compensation: $21.85 per hour

Responsibilities

• Manual, heavy lifting
• Stage and sort products for loading
• Load and unload semi-trucks in a safe manner
• Handle freight
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Sort and place parts in racks or other designated areas
• Stack cardboard boxes and pallets
• Move materials within the warehouse
• May operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts as needed
• Scan freights / parts

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required
• Ability to work independently, customer service, multi-tasking, organizational, flexible, time management skills required
• Willingness to work overtime preferred
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions required
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
• Ability to work at the specific location and follow a scheduled work plan
• Complete a Penske employment application, background check (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required
• Position is designated as safety sensitive; must work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner and take responsibility for personal and others’ safety

While performing the duties of this job, the associate will be required to move frequently, stand, walk, and sit. The associate is frequently required to use hands to touch, handle, and feel, and to reach with hands and arms. The associate must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs (23 kg) and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs (45 kg).
