Dock Operator 1st Shift (Shipping) at Bosch Home Comfort USA — West Memphis, AR.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift safely and perform daily preventive maintenance and safety checks as required.
• Maintain all aspects of inventory control in the warehouse and all assigned work areas, including picking, packing, and labeling.
• Physically move materials between locations as demand dictates per appropriate documents.
• Counts parts by hand to ensure inventory accuracy.
• Utilize RF scan guns and/or hand-held devices to access information and perform material movement tasks.
• Communicate with supervisors and team leaders to obtain proper information and direction on material movement throughout the plant; may distribute information to managers and coworkers regarding exceptions or quality issues.
• Replace or assist other dock operator personnel as directed and perform related replenishment and picking functions as required.
• Observe all safety regulations and report unsafe conditions to the supervisor; keep the work area clean and safe.

Qualifications

• Have previous and/or current forklift experience.
• Be able to lift 75 lbs.
• Possess excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
• High School Diploma / GED.

Prior forklift experience is preferred; ability to lift 75 lbs; strong communication and attention to detail; High School Diploma or GED.
