Overview
Delap LLP is recruiting on behalf of Inter-Fluve to hire a motivated Accounting Manager. This role will be on-site in Hood River, OR, with the opportunity also in St. Paul, MN. The Accounting Manager will report to the CFO.

Position Description
This position will support the ongoing growth of the organization and collaborate with our professional staff to serve our clients. The Accounting Manager will coordinate with the CFO and Financial Controller and undertake all aspects of company accounting systems, including regulatory and financial reporting, project costing, reporting and invoicing and monthly financial statements.
Work Schedule
This is a Monday-Friday in-office position. Remote or hybrid work schedule is NOT desired. This role requires occasional overtime work and may require up to 10% travel to Inter-Fluve offices across the US.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and/or finance.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Ability to anticipate project needs and identify work assignments independently.
- Proactive, self-motivated; able to work with local and virtual teams.
- Car and valid driver’s license.
- Ability to lift and/or move equipment and/or supplies weighing up to 40lbs.
Additional Desired Qualifications
- CPA or CMA is highly preferred.
- Experience with creating financial statements.
- Experience with Ajera or Deltek financial software.
- Experience with general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close process.
- Appreciation for the outdoors and the natural environment.
- Coordinate with the Financial Controller and support all accounting operations including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, cost accounting, and revenue recognition.
- Ensure quality control and GAAP compliance over financial transactions and reporting.
- Prepare and publish timely, monthly financial statements and reporting.
- Coordinate state and federal tax compliance and regulatory tax reporting.
- Coordinate the preparation of FAR compliant indirect cost rate.
- Coordinate reporting and compliance with Canadian-based projects, including quarterly sales tax reporting.
- Coordinate with Project Administrators and Managers to ensure contract compliance, documentation, costing, subcontractor compliance and invoicing, client invoicing and collection management, and project closeout.
- Act as a point of contact for client, subcontractor or internal team member on project finances.
- Administer the company stock program and related documentation.
- Coordinate accounting and reporting for affiliated entities.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Salary: Target salary is $80K - $100K, DOE.
