Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor in technical skills and Ruger's core values (teamwork, quality, and servant leadership) while implementing LEAN manufacturing principles on the production floor. This position requires a motivated self-starter with knowledge in multi-axis Swiss style lathes that does not require daily direction to meet production goals.
• Manage multiple projects and assignments.
• Set up and develop efficient and capable Swiss Style Lathe manufacturing processes for Ruger products, including tooling selection.
• Implement production quality systems and gauging methods.
• Develop machining and assembly processes including Swiss style CNC.
• Program CNC Swiss machines using G & M-Code, CAM programming.
• Apply GD&T principles to ensure that work holding, machining and gauge control meet the required design intent.
• Coordinate with tooling and equipment sources internally and externally during development and validation of manufacturing processes.
• Drive standardization throughout the Ruger Hebron factory via core competency teams, benchmarking, process standards and equipment checklists.
• Support the company's LEAN manufacturing initiatives.

• Solidworks
• Mastercam
