Job Description:

The Manufacturing Specialists direct train schedule and coordinate daily production within multiple areas of the Raw Materials department. They ensure technician training is completed in a timely manner, perform technician training and review documentation, and ensure all resources and supplies are available for day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities

• Daily oversight of technicians. Assigns and coordinates workload to assure maximum efficiency.
• Responsible for training new technicians including GMP Compliance, Safety and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Provide manufacturing expertise and experience; possess detailed knowledge and processes in multiple production areas.
• Assertively cross-trained in diverse areas.
• Participate in special projects; coordinate technician assignments in multiple departments.
• Issue raw material production documents and assist in record review.
• Assess production activities; provide recommendations for process improvements, corrective actions, and training needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent required
• No Experience required with a Bachelor's degree
• 1 to 5 years related experience (Minimum 1 year without Bachelor’s)
• Pharmaceutical experience and FDA-regulated experience preferred
• Mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, basic cGMP and basic sanitization processes required
• Respirator clearance required
• Ability to lift 60 lbs unassisted
• Repetitive activity, pushing/pulling, prolonged sitting and standing, and twisting required
• Exposure to allergens required
• Working in confined spaces required
• Minimal travel < 10% required

Shift and Location

Shift: Weekday Days, Monday–Friday 6am–6pm. This is an on-site, full-time position located in Spokane, WA.

Compensation and Benefits

• Hiring wage: $30.93–$41.85 per hour, depending on experience, with opportunity for growth, promotion and annual raises. Midpoint and above reserved for longevity and performance.
