Job Summary

Manufacturing Production Supervisor will assist with managing various production activities on 3rd shift, 10:00pm – 6:00am (e.g., assembly, material forming/shaping, processing, treating, or packaging, etc.). Responsibilities include planning, directing, and monitoring production to meet established specifications, schedules, volume/cost/wastage targets, and quality standards. You will liaise with Manufacturing Engineering, Supply & Logistics, Sales, and other teams to develop production schedules and allocate labor/capital resources, and plan and manage maintenance/downtime to minimize disruptions.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Direct, leverage, and guide the work of others and mobilize resources, typically with two or more direct reports.
  • Monitor and achieve operational and/or financial results for their area of responsibility.
  • Manage people-related actions such as hiring, terminating, rewarding, training, and developing employees.
  • Coach and address performance issues following progressive discipline to support safety, quality, performance, training, and attendance.
  • Supervise entry-level or semi-skilled hourly employees (production, craft, and clerical roles).
  • Coordinate resources and set daily priorities to ensure task completion and objectives are met.
  • Understand and apply established procedures within own area.
  • Monitor daily operations of a unit or sub-unit and identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems.
  • Collaborate with related areas to improve efficiency and direct operations of work units.
  • Work is guided by schedules and deliverables; decisions directly impact unit operations.
  • Adhere to safety, quality, and performance standards in day-to-day activities.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; or related work experience in lieu of degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing or a related environment.
  • Printing experience is a plus; experience in folding cartons or packaging is a plus.
  • This position is assigned to the 3rd shift (10pm – 6am) and requires flexibility to work all shifts, weekends (rotational), holidays, and overtime as needed.

Pay Range

$78,750.00 – $105,000.00

Applicants will be accepted on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline. This role is incentive plan eligible; compensation offers will be based on factors including knowledge, skills, past experience, job duties, geography, and business need.
