Custodian Job at SBM Management Services, LP in San Jose

SBM Management is looking for a Custodian to help them shine! We are searching for a hardworking, dependable individual to join the team as our company grows. We have an immediate opening for a custodian that wants to deliver exceptional customer satisfaction. We are looking for custodial members that have strong customer service skills and can work successfully with other team members.

Responsibilities

• Floor care (vacuuming, mopping, carpet spotting)
• Surface care (dusting, sanitizing, glass/mirror/window cleaning, metal/wood polishing, clean blinds and draperies)
• Waste removal (empty trash and recycle bins, transport trash and waste to proper disposal areas)
• Light maintenance (replace light bulbs, restock supply cabinet/room)

Qualifications

• Bilingual a plus, not required.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment and willingness to share with the team
• Knowledge of the upkeep and care of cleaning equipment
• Knowledge of cleaning compounds and chemicals, and their safe, efficient use
• No specific education requirement; 3-6 months training or experience preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

Compensation & Schedule

Compensation: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Shift: 4pm - 12:30am (Mon - Fri); may soon be switching to Sun-Thu
