T-Rex Solutions, LLC is hiring: COMSEC Custodian in Columbia

Overview

Are you ready to make a significant impact by supporting critical national security infrastructure? T-Rex Solutions is looking for a fully cleared COMSEC Custodian to join our team in the Columbia, MD area.

Base pay range: $75,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

• COMSEC Custodian/Ticket Coordinator to provide support to the growing interest and demands from our clients for Mobility, IoT, AI, Machine Learning, and other emerging technologies for enterprise use.
• Provide mobility systems expertise in support of Public Sector / National Security customers.
• Plan, design implementation of proofs-of-concept and trials that demonstrate mobile capabilities and/or apply technologies and solutions that address client requirements with particular attention to showcase capabilities unique to or emerging.
• Manage classified equipment, materials, and information in accordance with DoD COMSEC policies; securely store classified material; maintain COMSEC access list; limit access to classified material to authorized personnel; maintain accountability of all COMSEC material; submit required accounting reports; brief users and maintain records of initial briefings and debriefings; program and distribute COMSEC devices; order, receive, load, and manage COMSEC keying material using the Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) and Simple Key Loader (SKL) and other devices; re-key circuits as required. Translate study findings, research, trial results and proofs-of-concept into proposals for solutions to be rolled out into client environments or to be deployed and operated in support of client requirements.
• Work with Government to understand functional and security requirements, past experiences, and capabilities; provide recommended solutions.
• Work with vendors to understand functional and security capabilities of vendor products and solutions.
• Produce, review, evaluate whitepapers, and briefings related to the above activities to decision makers.
• Attend client and vendors events related to Mobility solutions, emerging technologies and evaluations.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a COMSEC custodian and/or 5 years of customer service experience working on a NOC or similar work environment.
• Active TS/SCI w/ FSP

In compliance with pay transparency guidelines, the annual base salary range for this position is $75,000-$85,000. Salary is a general guideline and factors such as scope and responsibilities, candidate experience, education, key skills, internal equity, and market conditions are considered when extending an offer.
