Primary Duties

The Forklift Operator is responsible for operating and managing industrial trucks to load/unload materials and deliveries, move them to/from storage areas, machines, loading docks, and trucks. Responsibilities include safe forklift operation, basic maintenance, and cross-training with other drivers. Duties may include completing bills of lading, changing fuel tanks, and picking up parts or debris around the workstation. Also includes completing quality tests/inspections and reporting safety or product concerns to supervisors. Other duties as assigned.

What You Need To Succeed

• Ability to operate industrial trucks and follow specific directions
• Must pass written and driving tests to obtain operator's license
• Ability to work safely and comply with safety regulations
• Physical ability to push/pull/bend/squat/lift up to 50 lbs, reach, kneel, and stand up to 12 hours
• Willingness to work daily overtime, weekends, and various shifts
• Must be willing to work on any available shift
