Overview

Crate and Barrel is hiring a Forklift Operator at our Distribution Centers. The role involves transferring goods using power industrial equipment to support on-time delivery of orders and efficient warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

• Use materials handling equipment to stock, retrieve, lift, carry, move, and position merchandise stored on various levels throughout the warehouse/s cross-dock
• Operate equipment safely to ensure no damage to merchandise, equipment, or facilities
• Perform safety checks on lifts and report any damage prior to start and end of shift
• Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies
• Perform routine equipment servicing (e.g., attaching a battery charger, replenishing fuel, checking safety of operations)
• Clean up and dispose of boxes, packing material, and pallets; maintain general housekeeping of facility and product line areas
• Rotate through different departments as needed to meet business demands
• Participate in ongoing training regarding technology upgrades and new systems applicable to the position
• Perform all job tasks assigned by leadership to achieve daily productivity and quality goals

What you’ll bring to the table

Qualifications

• 1+ year of operating power industrial equipment
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
