Starting Pay Rate

• Minimum rate of $17.41 an hour
• Shift differential for night shift
• Eligible for annual & skill-based wage increases

Available Shifts

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM on a 2-2-3 Schedule
• Night Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM on a 2-2-3 Schedule

Responsibilities

• Operate all warehouse equipment required to transfer finished goods and other products to the appropriate areas (includes forklift and clamp truck).
• Load and unload trucks efficiently following department standards.
• Move and transfer materials and finished goods in a high-volume production environment.
• Support WMS functions related to inventory and load management (e.g., Pick list, PGI).
• Check the accuracy of finished product count, product ID, order destination, and carrier ID before loading vehicles; complete all required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a high degree of accuracy and accountability, following standard processes and procedures.
• Adhere to safety standards, SWIS, and company policies; maintain a safe work area.
• Know locations and operation of emergency stop buttons and fire extinguishers.
• Complete forklift checklists including daily inspections; ability to change forklift propane tank as required.
• The job responsibilities are not all-inclusive; other duties may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year recent forklift experience preferred
• Minimum of one year sit-down forklift experience required
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift
• Must obtain and maintain valid Pactiv Forklift and Safety Certifications during employment
• Experience in a fast-paced warehouse/logistics environment
• Prior use of RF barcode readers and vehicle-mounted (VMU) computer systems preferred
• Push-pull attachment operation a plus
• Basic math skills; strong communication (English)
• Self-directed with minimal supervision
• Must be certified in Lockout/Tag Out and Forklift Operation upon assignment

Physical Requirements

• Exposure to hot temperatures in summer and cold temperatures in winter
• May be exposed to dust; noise exposure with ear protection available
• Ability to maintain focus, sit or stand for extended periods
• Frequent lifting: 0-40 lbs; walking, standing, kneeling, bending; occasional stair climbing and ladder use
