After School Sports Instructor at i9 Sports

i9 Sports is seeking an After School Sports Instructor to lead organized sports programs for elementary school students. The candidate should be able to learn and coach multiple sports (soccer, volleyball, basketball, flag football, etc.) and interface with school leaders and students to deliver the i9 Sports Experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead sports sessions focusing on fundamentals and skill development for groups of around 20 elementary school kids.
• Teach and demonstrate core concepts such as good sportsmanship and teamwork and ensure kids are having fun.
• Supervise the overall operation of the after school program, assist with snack time, take attendance, and support program dismissal as applicable.
• Maintain a positive attitude and provide superior customer service.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills to lead children.
• Sport-specific knowledge; ability to coach multiple sports.
• Self-motivated, able to work independently and organize group activities.
• Awareness and ability to take charge to ensure student safety.
• Positive can-do attitude.
• Ability to work afternoons/evenings Monday–Thursday.
• Must be able to pass a National Criminal Background Check and fingerprinting for school systems.
• Reliable transportation.
