Their flagship product—an intelligent automation platform—augments and accelerates healthcare decision-making by integrating seamlessly into existing systems. With a strong emphasis on compliance, modularity, and explainability, their solution is already reducing administrative burden and improving care quality across major health plans.
What You Will Do
Lead and scale a high-performing team of engineers while maintaining a strong focus on technical excellence.
Own the architecture and delivery of complex backend systems, cloud infrastructure, and AI-integrated workflows.
Make foundational technical decisions for distributed systems, high-throughput services, and multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, on-prem).
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (Product, AI, and Design) to build user-centric and scalable solutions.
Set and evolve engineering best practices, driving efficient execution without unnecessary overhead.
Remain hands-on where needed—guiding system architecture and reviewing codebases, especially in areas like CI/CD, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern backend systems.
Foster a culture of mentorship, accountability, and continuous technical learning.
Ideal Candidate Background
7–12 years of experience as a software engineer, with a track record of progression into technical leadership or engineering management.
Has operated in both high-growth startups and established tech environments.
Deep understanding of backend infrastructure, cloud environments, and scalable systems.
Mission-driven with a background or interest in health tech, life sciences, or impact-driven industries.
Comfortable working in dynamic, high-ownership environments with limited oversight.
Preferred
Strong educational background in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with AI/ML applications in production environments, even if indirectly.
Familiarity with scaling engineering teams from early stages.
Prior exposure to infrastructure-heavy projects or cloud-first architecture.
Compensation, Benefits, and Other Perks
Base Salary: $230,000–$275,000
