Role and Responsibilities

  • Collaboration: Drive initiatives in a fast-paced environment, manage time effectively, and contribute in a team setting. Communicate complex initiatives, trends, and data to stakeholders clearly.
  • Forecasting/Modeling: Collaborate with analytics teams using statistical and machine learning methods to measure and project user engagement with Disney platforms across multiple KPIs; drive improvements to forecasting models to enhance accuracy.
  • Partnerships: Work with internal and external business stakeholders to identify opportunities, and with data teams to improve data modeling, testing platforms, and data visualization capabilities.
  • Data Quality: Serve as a subject-matter expert on internal/external data sources; escalate anomalies/bugs and develop workarounds to keep data clean for KPI reporting.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2 years of related work experience preferred
  • Proven ability to build qualitative business analyses and insights to drive decision-making
  • Experience in forecasting, scenario planning, and modeling
  • Exceptional communication skills (verbal, written, listening)
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Looker)
  • Experience with data management tools (SQL, Snowflake)
  • Strong analytic skills and high attention to detail in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills; ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects
  • Resourceful, proactive, and able to work independently or in a team
  • Flexible and willing to take on new assignments; seeks opportunities to contribute and drive projects to completion
  • Understanding of online metrics such as impressions, page views, visits, reach, and retention is a plus
  • Passion for sports and the digital sports fan experience is a plus
  • Must live within a commutable distance to the New York City office (onsite role)

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree is required, ideally in a quantitative field

The hiring range for this position in New York, NY is $82,000.00 to $109,800.00 per year. The base pay offered will account for internal equity and may vary by geographic region, knowledge, skills, and experience. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of benefits.
