About the Role

Diamond Foundry is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to oversee our AP team and ensure the efficient and accurate processing of invoices and vendor payments. The role involves managing AP operations, improving processes, ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial policies, mentoring the current AP team, and supporting the accounting department.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about operational efficiency, collaboration, and be a self-starter with a strong enthusiasm for change management.

This position reports to the Corporate Controller and offers a hybrid work model, working 3 days in the office and 2 days remotely.

Responsibilities

  1. Supervise, mentor, and train the AP team.
  2. Serve as the primary escalation point for AP issues, including credit cards and expense reimbursements.
  3. Oversee the end-to-end AP process, ensuring timely and accurate invoice and payment processing with proper approvals, month-end close, and compliance (including 1099 filings, Sales/Use Tax, VAT + GST considerations).
  4. Collaborate with Procurement, Finance, IT, and other departments to streamline processes.
  5. Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.

Qualifications

  1. 7+ years of accounts payable experience, including 3+ years in management.
  2. Strong understanding of GAAP, accrual accounting, and AP best practices; experience in multi-entity and multi-currency environments preferred.
  3. Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities.
  4. Effective communication, problem-solving skills, and experience in a high-growth or startup environment.
  5. Experience with process automation and system implementation, proficiency in Netsuite, Airbase, and Rippling Spend preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary range: $125,000 - $145,000 annually. The position is eligible for company shares. Actual compensation may vary based on experience, duties, and location. Higher-level candidates may be considered, with salary adjustments accordingly.
