Overview

The primary purpose of your job position is to perform the day-to-day activities of the Housekeeping Department in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations; our established policies and procedures and as directed by your supervisor.

The primary duties and responsibilities of the Laundry Aide include performing the day-to-day activities of the Laundry Department in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations; our established policies and procedures and as directed by your supervisor.

What you’ll be doing

• Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, and other areas so that health standards are met
• Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to disposal area
• Disinfect equipment and supplies
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency
• Previous housekeeping experience preferred but willing to train motivated applicants
