Overview

Westgate River Ranch Resort & Rodeo offers a unique opportunity to meet and greet guests who love the outdoors at our authentic Florida dude ranch. The property lies on 1,700 acres overlooking the Kissimmee River, just one hour south of Orlando, with outdoor recreation such as horseback riding, airboat and swamp buggy rides, trap & skeet range, full-service marina, and a Saturday night rodeo.

Starting pay rate: $16 / hour - Use our Daily Pay benefit and access your pay as you need it.

Position

Houseperson/Runner is a critical member of the housekeeping team, providing support to housekeepers and ensuring guest rooms and common areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked. The ideal candidate will be a hard worker with a positive attitude, excellent customer service skills, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to housekeepers by delivering supplies, removing trash, and cleaning common areas
• Deliver requested items to guest units promptly and efficiently
• Greet guests and respond to their requests in a friendly and helpful manner
• Stock linen closets and other storage areas
• Walk the property daily to ensure cleanliness and a welcoming environment
• Report any maintenance issues to the housekeeping supervisor
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Assist with special projects around the property, including cleaning buildings and hallways
• Perform exterior maintenance tasks such as pressure washing and using a gasoline blower to keep the grounds tidy
• Collect trash from the entire property, ensuring all areas remain safe and presentable

Qualifications

• Demonstrates a friendly and positive demeanor
• Possesses a strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Must be comfortable working in a variety of outdoor weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, humid, etc.)
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Must have proof of a valid drivers license
