Senior iOS Engineer - Generative AI Experiences Software

Description
Join our team of highly skilled engineers to develop innovative Generative AI-enabled experiences for Apple products. This role requires a self-motivated individual with strong technical and interpersonal skills. Responsibilities include:
- Expanding iOS platforms to incorporate new Generative AI features
- Prototyping ideas for feature development and iteration
- Collaborating with the Apple Design Team and cross-functional partners to communicate ideas
- Leading architecture discussions and conducting code reviews
- Building internal tools to ensure high-quality software delivery
Minimum Qualifications
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience with a strong understanding of fundamentals
- Extensive experience in iOS development, including Swift and Apple development tools
- Proven experience in software architecture with solid object-oriented programming skills
- Ability to decompose large features into practical solutions
- Experience working cross-functionally and building strong team partnerships
- Curiosity about new technologies, flexibility, and openness to ambiguity
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of AI principles or experience with large language models
- Experience with iOS/macOS/tvOS development domains such as system shells, daemons, services, application frameworks, UI frameworks, or power and performance optimization
Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $175,800 to $312,200, depending on skills, experience, and location. Apple offers a comprehensive benefits package including medical and dental coverage, retirement plans, employee stock programs, educational reimbursement, and more.
