Responsibilities
- Sell all Akur8 products to a named list of accounts and contribute to revenue growth in North America.
- Own a revenue target that contributes to North America and company objectives.
- Secure net new logos and ensure strong brand recognition across your named accounts.
- Identify, prospect, and engage decision-makers for a named list of accounts.
- Develop account plans and territory strategies to achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales targets.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and discovery to RFIs/RFPs to contract negotiation with a focused cadence.
- Lead in-depth discovery sessions to understand client challenges and objectives.
- Present compelling value propositions and adapt to different audiences (users to executives).
- Act as a strategic advisor, sharing industry trends and best practices to help clients stay competitive.
- Collaborate with pre-sales and product specialists to design tailored solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of account activities in CRM and report on customer insights.
Qualifications
Educational / Professional Experience
- 6+ years of professional experience in sales / new business development.
- Experience in a high-growth B2B technology company.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.
Hard Skills
- Track record of meeting or exceeding quota.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills with experience selling to senior executives.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
- Ability to build an effective and actionable account business strategy.
- Familiarity with sales protocols, SaaS processes, CRMs, Slack, and cross-team collaboration.
- Experience working with technical teams in a global company.
Soft Skills
- Empathetic, humble and trustworthy.
- Capacity for detailed analysis and translating into actionable plans.
- Flexible and adaptable, comfortable with multiple and evolving topics.
Language Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

- Experience at a SaaS company.
- Technical fluency in cloud architecture, APIs and integration, IT project delivery.
- Insurance industry experience.
