Senior Software Engineer, Calendar Experience

Description
As a member of this team, you will contribute to both platform and product development. You will collaborate with engineering, data engineering, product, design, QE, automation, and other cross-functional teams to drive new initiatives. The role requires thriving in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and a passion for caring about Apple’s customers. You will set and uphold high standards for code quality, unit testing, and engineering processes. Extensive app development experience and a strong track record of architecting highly-performant applications are essential. A good understanding of systems, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills, is also required.
Minimum Qualifications
- Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI.
- 6+ years of SwiftUI/Swift or UIKit/AppKit/Objective-C software engineering experience with impactful contributions.
- Strong foundation in modern programming principles and development practices.
- Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills, especially for complex challenges.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of engineering experience building mobile and desktop projects.
- Motivated to build the best user experiences for billions of users.
- Keen sense of UI design and meticulous attention to details.
- Collaborative mindset, with experience in working with, learning from, and mentoring diverse teams.
- Hands-on experience with time-based data models, iCalendar, and CalDAV standards.
At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is $175,800 to $312,200, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
