Senior Software Engineer, Calendar Experience

Description

As a member of this team, you will contribute to both platform and product development. You will collaborate with engineering, data engineering, product, design, QE, automation, and other cross-functional teams to drive new initiatives. The role requires thriving in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities and a passion for caring about Apple’s customers. You will set and uphold high standards for code quality, unit testing, and engineering processes. Extensive app development experience and a strong track record of architecting highly-performant applications are essential. A good understanding of systems, along with excellent communication and collaboration skills, is also required.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Proficient in Swift and SwiftUI.
  2. 6+ years of SwiftUI/Swift or UIKit/AppKit/Objective-C software engineering experience with impactful contributions.
  3. Strong foundation in modern programming principles and development practices.
  4. Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills, especially for complex challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. 10+ years of engineering experience building mobile and desktop projects.
  2. Motivated to build the best user experiences for billions of users.
  3. Keen sense of UI design and meticulous attention to details.
  4. Collaborative mindset, with experience in working with, learning from, and mentoring diverse teams.
  5. Hands-on experience with time-based data models, iCalendar, and CalDAV standards.

At Apple, base pay is part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is $175,800 to $312,200, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
