We are searching for a talented Courier.

Hours: Per Diem

Shift: Day/Evening shift with minor holiday and weekend rotation; 6:30am - 10:00pm

Location: Charlton Memorial Hospital - Fall River, MA

Responsibilities

Under the general supervision of the Team Leader, Courier Services or Designee, perform a variety of duties within and in support of the organization’s Courier Service involving prompt and dependable transportation for deliveries, pickups, errands, etc. within the Southcoast Hospitals Group area. Pick-up and deliver supplies and specimens as needed. Must obey rules of the road while driving.

Qualifications

• Equal to completion of four years of high school.
• Duties require the use of cell phones, pagers and related equipment in carrying out position responsibilities.
• Require a valid Vehicle Operator’s License and safe driving record to perform Courier Service duties.
• Must obey the rules of the road including driving with caution and courtesy in the operation of hospital vehicles.
• May use Southcoast or on occasion own personal vehicle in carrying out position responsibilities.
• Minimum of three months experience.
• Duties require good customer service skills.
• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or be exempt for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying exemption once hired.
• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.

Pay and Schedule

Pay Range: USD $15.78 - USD $22.22 /Hr.

Rotation Schedule: Minor holidays and weekends
