Position: Plant General Manager
Location: 5505 SW Western Ave., Beaverton, OR 97403
Pay Range: $101,000 - $134,600
Factors such as experience, skills, and abilities will influence the final placement within this range.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety and financial performance of the plant, including setting local safety and profitability goals.
- Develop and implement strategies for continuous growth and market expansion.
- Manage sales development and execution through recycling sales representatives.
- Understand the local recycling market and develop a go-to-market plan based on the 80/20 approach.
- Oversee safety, productivity, staffing, operations, maintenance, and cost control.
- Communicate plans, goals, and expectations effectively to the team.
- Lead and develop direct reports, including sales reps and the plant superintendent.
- Manage human resources and physical assets efficiently.
- Plan and oversee capital projects.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience in commercial strategy, sales, and management.
- Ability to influence and lead across organizational levels.
- Strong ethical standards and commitment to safety.
- Experience managing P&L and operational efficiency.
- Manufacturing supervision and fiber recycling facility experience (preferred).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Leadership, organizational, and team-building skills.
