Plant General Manager

Position: Plant General Manager

Location: 5505 SW Western Ave., Beaverton, OR 97403

Pay Range: $101,000 - $134,600
Factors such as experience, skills, and abilities will influence the final placement within this range.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Ensure safety and financial performance of the plant, including setting local safety and profitability goals.
2. Develop and implement strategies for continuous growth and market expansion.
3. Manage sales development and execution through recycling sales representatives.
4. Understand the local recycling market and develop a go-to-market plan based on the 80/20 approach.
5. Oversee safety, productivity, staffing, operations, maintenance, and cost control.
6. Communicate plans, goals, and expectations effectively to the team.
7. Lead and develop direct reports, including sales reps and the plant superintendent.
8. Manage human resources and physical assets efficiently.
9. Plan and oversee capital projects.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience in commercial strategy, sales, and management.
• Ability to influence and lead across organizational levels.
• Strong ethical standards and commitment to safety.
• Experience managing P&L and operational efficiency.
• Manufacturing supervision and fiber recycling facility experience (preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Leadership, organizational, and team-building skills.
