Overview

Courier - PRN role at Baptist Health Care. The courier is responsible for transporting specimens, reports/mail, pharmacy products, x-rays, and other items in an accurate and timely manner. Maintains a good working relationship with physicians, physician's office staff, and clients on the route.

Responsibilities

• Transport specimens, reports/mail, x-rays, pharmacy products and other items accurately and on time.
• Complete specimen tracking list at all locations on route.
• Transport specimens in accordance with HIPAA standards and other regulatory requirements.
• Comply with all organizational, departmental, and unit policies and procedures.
• Document and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance and mileage records.

Qualifications

• Minimum Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• Licenses and Certifications: Proper motor vehicle insurance when operating a personal vehicle for business use (Required)
