Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to develop and strengthen relationships to advance the business.
- Build cross-functional teams within the organization by connecting personnel across business lines, or manage external vendor and supplier relations. Manage customer relations to increase the business’s visibility and reputation.
- Identify areas to increase footprint, potential partnerships, opportunities to enhance distribution, open new markets, and methods to improve efficiency within sales and marketing departments.
- Take a hands-on approach to marketing efforts. Present market research and customer profiles to marketing teams, recommend strategies to expand market reach, and coordinate activities between sales and marketing to introduce new campaigns that drive growth.
- Work closely with executives and operations specialists to improve planning and efficiency. Assess marketing and sales operations, vendor activities, and make recommendations for improvements. Make long-term decisions regarding product development and distribution strategies.
- Present to company executives and management teams on business or marketing opportunities or the results of new strategies. Prepare documents for requests for proposals (RFPs), which can present new growth opportunities.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- BS/BA in business administration, healthcare economics, or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a business development director, sales executive, or similar role in Healthcare/Medical/Pharmaceutical fields. Proven sales record and client connections in clinics and medical groups in Northern California are preferred.
- Experience in digital health startups is a plus.
- Strong market knowledge in US medical insurance and clinical practice.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build rapport.
- Strong time management and planning skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software (e.g., Monday, Salesforce).
