We are seeking a strategic Head of Total Rewards to lead the development and execution of Aurora’s global total rewards programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Executive Compensation & Board Engagement:
- Prepare Compensation Committee materials and drive executive compensation strategies.
- Advise the executive team on equity programs, pay-for-performance, and market competitiveness.
- Ensure legal compliance and partner with Legal on disclosures and filings.
- Total Rewards Strategy & Delivery:
- Design and expand salary, bonus, equity, and recognition programs aligned with company strategy and culture.
- Lead annual compensation planning, benchmarking, and equity grants.
- Collaborate on job architecture and pay structures to ensure clarity and competitiveness.
- Benefits Leadership:
- Oversee employee benefits and wellbeing programs, ensuring inclusivity and competitiveness.
- Evaluate and optimize benefits programs with vendors.
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
- Governance, Analytics & Compliance:
- Develop compensation and benefits analytics for transparency and data-driven decisions.
- Maintain compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Coordinate with Legal, Finance, and HR for system and policy alignment.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and develop the Total Rewards team, fostering a culture of trust and collaboration.
Qualifications
- 12+ years in compensation and benefits, including executive compensation experience in a public company.
- Experience working with Compensation Committees and board stakeholders.
- Deep knowledge of compensation structures, equity vehicles, and benefits programs.
- Familiarity with SEC regulations, disclosures, and reporting.
- Strong analytical, modeling, and communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Finance, or related; advanced certifications preferred.
- Proven leadership in a high-growth environment.
The salary range is $223,000 - $380,000, with additional bonuses and benefits. The starting pay will depend on experience and qualifications.
