About the Role

We are hiring on behalf of a well-established bank for a Fintech Developer to join their technology team in Singapore. This role is ideal for a hands-on technologist with strong communication skills who enjoys bridging business needs with innovative digital solutions. You will play a critical part in translating financial service requirements into scalable, efficient software applications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Head Office IT teams to gather requirements, test, and deploy new projects.
  • Understand and work within the Group’s system architecture to ensure smooth integration with business functions.
  • Translate complex banking requirements into practical, efficient software solutions.
  • Lead the end-to-end development of IT projects to support business operations and branch management needs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software bugs or system issues in a timely manner.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to continuously improve development processes and delivery efficiency.
  • Ensure that software workflows, technical specifications, and system processes are well documented.
  • Support any additional tasks as directed by the Head of Department or Branch Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fintech, IT, or software development—preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
  • Solid experience with software development methodologies and system architecture design.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with modern web frameworks such as Vue.js or React.js; full stack development experience is preferred.
  • Experience with version control and CI/CD practices; understanding of Business Continuity Planning (BCP) is a plus.
  • Proven ability to deliver functional solutions under tight timelines.
  • Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
