Ryder is immediately hiring Temporary Material Handlers in Spring Hill, Tennessee. Warehouse positions pay weekly.

  • Hourly Pay: $20.33 per hour
  • Overtime Pay: $30.50 per hour
  • Additional Pay: $1.25 per hour when assigned to second shift
  • Schedules: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday, 4:00 pm - 12:30 am

We have various warehouse fulfillment specialist roles at Ryder supporting distribution across the US. Products being handled: automotive parts and supplies. Equipment being used: forklift, tuggers.

Responsibilities

  • Perform warehouse functions, including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting
  • Operate within performance measurement guidelines of the contract
  • Ensure accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading/unloading of trucks
  • Handle day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment (e.g., picking sheets, returns, bills of lading)
  • Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core production shift
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience preferred
  • Valid Forklift Operator’s License certified
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment
  • Ability to establish professional relationships at all levels
  • Highly thorough and dependable
  • Punctual with good attendance
  • Performs work independently with minimal supervision
  • Demonstrates initiative and high level of accuracy under pressure
  • Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs
  • Ability to stand for long periods
  • Ability to work using health and safety methods
  • Flexibility to work on various shifts
  • Detail oriented with excellent follow-up practices
